VMW Taxand is an independent firm, founded in 1991 as Van Mens & Wisselink, where lawyers, tax experts and civil law notaries work in an integrated law practice. We attach great value to efficient collaboration between tax and civil practices and prefer to offer an integrated product through a single contact point. Our strength lies in our vision: personal attention for clients who place high demands on the quality of our services.

We are a medium-sized firm with an informal/business-like culture and we are not afraid to differentiate ourselves through a strong international focus and high quality, which are expressed in our close ties with the academic world and other affiliations. Our international outlook is primarily evident in our Japanese, Turkish and German desks, operated by lawyers who speak the language of the country in which they do business. We also have desks with a strong focus on specific sectors, such as the gaming industry and the energy sector.

VMW Taxand has three practice groups: corporate law, labour law and tax law. Our clients include both domestic and foreign companies as well as non-profit organisations and wealthy private individuals.

We are the exclusive Dutch member of the Taxand network, a worldwide network of tax experts. We also joined Globalaw, a worldwide network of lawyers.
