Julia Rogmans

Julia studied German law at the Humboldt University in Berlin. After graduating, she completed a Masters Degree in International and European Law at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2005/2006.

From 2006 to 2008 she completed her legal practice training at the Düsseldorf Court, Bird & Bird in Düsseldorf, Van Mens & Wisselink in Amsterdam and at the European Commission in Brussels at the Information, Society & the Media Directorate. 

Julia has been working as a Rechtsanwältin at VMW Taxand (Van Mens & Wisselink at that time) since early 2009. She predominantly works for the German Desk. 

Julia advises national and international clients in the area of corporate law, and she answers queries regarding employment law. She mainly advises Dutch and German clients with a focus on cross-border business. In addition to this, Julia also advises on sports law. Her publications include an annual contribution on Dutch labor law to Arbeitsrecht in Europa of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft.

Julia has been admitted to the bar in Düsseldorf (Germany) in February 2009 and has since then been litigating for her clients in Germany.
