Professor Marjan Olfers

Professor Marjan Olfers is a partner at VMW Taxand. She specializes in litigation and advising clients on sports, media and events law. She combines her role as attorney-at-law with her work as an assistant professor of Sport and Law at the VU University Amsterdam.
Marjan is a member of the boards of the Dutch Union for Sport and Law, the Arbitration Committee for Sport Sponsoring, the Dutch Sports Appeals Committee for Doping Cases, the Amsterdam Sports Council. She is also editor of the Dutch Sports Law Journal (Tijdschrift voor Sport en Recht). Marjan was on the supervisory board of Ajax Football Club.
