Tom obtained his bachelor's degree in Tax Law at the University of Utrecht. After that he finished his master’s in International and European Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam. Next to his studies Tom did a.o. an internship at the Dutch Ministry of Finance and worked as a student employee at PwC.

As of January 2012 Tom joined VMW Taxand as a Tax lawyer. His focus is on both national and international aspects of personal and corporate income tax.
