Esat read law and completed his degree in Dutch Civil Law at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

As part of his legal study he participated in exchange programmes with the University of Bremen and the University of Oldenburg. He also completed Germanic Studies, resulting in a Bachelor degree (L.L.B.) and participated in an exchange programme with the University of Essen. 

He completed his apprenticeship with the law firms CMS Derks Star Busmann and Dirkzwager Advocaten & Notarissen. After one year as a legal assistant with Van Diepen van der Kroef in Amsterdam he joined VMW Taxand and is currently admitted as a lawyer to the Bar in Amsterdam.

Esat’s activities within VMW Taxand - being a member of the German Desk and the Turkish Desk - are carried out in the national and international departments of corporate law and real estate, where he specializes in the markets of the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey dealing with commercial contracts, commercial disputes and litigation.
