Matthijs Roest Crollius

Matthijs completed his degree in Dutch Law at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, with a focus on Dutch corporate law. He graduated in 2007. During 2006 Matthijs studied International Law at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Before graduating, he followed an internship with Van Mens & Wisselink in Amsterdam and in 2008 Matthijs joined Van Mens & Wisselink (now VMW Taxand). Matthijs conducted his initial activities within two practice groups (employment law and corporate law) and from 2009 onwards he focusses on employment law and labour law. 

Matthijs advises national and international companies and litigates on Dutch employment and labour law issues, in particular, employment agreements, employment manuals, (collective) termination(s) of employment, (international) postings (immigration), employee consultation procedures and (collective bargaining) agreements.

Matthijs is an active member of the Dutch Young Bar Association in Amsterdam and participates in the annual cabaret for the Dutch Bar Association nation-wide.
