Frank Tolboom

Attorney at Law

Frank studied law and obtained in 2008 his master degree cum laude in International and European law at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands. He has written his master thesis on the compatibility of the Dutch gambling policy with EU law, in particular with respect to the applicability of the transparency principle in the gaming sector. In 2008 and 2009 he worked part-time at a consultancy firm and a law firm Van Benthem en Keulen in Utrecht. Frank joined VMW Taxand in January 2010.

He works nationally and internationally in Corporate law with a strong focus on the Media, Entertainment and Gaming sector. Frank particularly concentrates on advising (remote) gaming clients on all operational and regulatory aspects of their businesses. He regularly speaks at international conferences (European Gambling Briefing, European I-Gaming Conference & Expo etc.) and writes on the subject matter (European Gaming Lawyer, World Online Gambling Law Report etc.)
