The Road to Regulation: Publication by Dr. Alan Littler in iGamingBusiness

We have reported about it before: the Dutch gambling landscape is undergoing change. Dr. Alan Littler, gaming lawyer at VMW Taxand, wrote an article on the subject, which has just been published in iGamingBusiness, Issue 69, July/August 2011.

The article is entitled 'The Road to Regulation: The Netherlands takes some early steps towards the regulation of online gaming.' It provides an overview of the existing situation which stems from legislation dating back to 1964, namely the Dutch Gaming and Betting Act, and further the nature of factors acting in combination which call for reform and a look ahead to the anticipated changes.
