Tax inequalities in the treatment of poker games in the EU

Tax regimes applicable to poker winnings vary from country to country in the EU, despite prospects of harmonised legislation. Frans Duynstee, partner at VMW Taxand, and Roos Jongeneel, junior associate, have examined the differences in taxation of poker in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany and have analysed their impact.
